About Day training
What is it?
Day Training is a board and train alternative where you do not have to take your dog to a facility--a pro trainer comes to you! It's the perfect option if you're looking for your dog to learn new skills at the hand of a professional, you're not looking to spend much time doing hands-on training yourself, and you don't want to send your baby away for 2+ weeks. Day Training programs are great for fixing minor behavior problems and having your dog learn basic obedience skills. When life gets busy and your dog's annoying behaviors are on your last nerve, a Day Training program with Canine Gems is the solution you need--and you don't have to take your dog anywhere! Let the trainer come to you and give your dog all the time and attention their new skills require, and you won't have to add "train the dog" to your already long to-do list.

Day Training is a good option if your dog's problems are annoying rather than dangerous, or if you're just looking for your dog to learn basic obedience skills without you having to teach them yourself. What do I get when I book a Day Training package?
Day Training programs include an initial consultation, a minimum of 6 sessions of the trainer coming to train the dog, and two one-on-one transfer sessions with the dog's primary handler, to make sure all cues are clear and training is maintained long-term.
